All October • Along 9th Avenue SE • FREE

Inglewood has nine lives. And nine ghost cats have the stories to prove it.

This October, nine spectral felines have appeared along 9th Avenue, each guarding a piece of Inglewood’s past and a story they’re absolutely dying to tell.

Take a stroll through the neighbourhood and hunt for all nine ghost cats hiding in the windows of businesses along 9th Ave. When you find one, stop and read their tale. Each cat will introduce you to a different chapter of Inglewood’s history, told from the perspective of a feline who just happened to be there to witness it.

Meet colourful characters. Discover places that have disappeared, changed or somehow survived the decades. Learn about the people and communities who shaped the neighbourhood. And uncover some of the stories hiding behind the buildings you walk past every day.

Part history lesson, part scavenger hunt, part ghost story, The 9 Lives of 9th Ave is a fun way to explore Inglewood at your own pace throughout October.
